Been in Brisbane for 3 weeks already and I realised some things are missing in my life. The following is a list of 10 ten I miss about Singapore.

1. I miss the authentic Hainese Chicken Rice - Their version of Hainese Chicken Rice just sucks. Even if it is good, it will cost three to four times what you can get back home.

2. I miss the MRT - Although they have trains here, it is still not the type that delivers you right smack to the location you are going. And it looks old and pathetic and you will have to work damn long for one to come. Board the wrong train and that's it. You'll be sent to some isolated location.

3. I miss the Chinese TV serials - There are only English shows on TV. Simpsons and Futurama are like the most watched shows for me on TV now.

4. I miss Orchard Road - To those that say Orchard Road is a boring place, wait till you come here when their busiest street is just one quarter the length of Orchard Road.

5. I miss my Guitar and Bass - The equipments here are all so expensive. I think I can bring my second hand pedals and sell it for the price of a new one back home!!

6. I miss my Pillow and Bolster - Nothing beats the ones used at home.

7. I miss Saturday Soccer Session - Soccer is fun when it is played on solid ground. Not Grass.

8. I miss the Movies - Movies here are always released months after it is being shown in Singapore. E.g. Pink Panther is only out on March 9th here when it is shown in February back home!

9. I miss the days without school work - Now with all the research and learning and stuff, days are never the same again. And the report writing here is driving me crazy. How on earth should I differentiate the different art and interactive styles used in the art work and where do I find quotes from the industry people when I don't even know them? Sheesh...

10. I miss you - Nuff said.
