NKF: (noun) - an organization whose modus operandi are dubious. Eg. Ah Lian left that company because she found that it is an NKF.

TT Durai: (verb) - to secretly take and take money from company, to secretly maximize entitlements or privileges. Eg. Ah Seng regretted not TT Durai'ing as much as possible from his ex-company before he was sacked.

peanut: (noun) - a unit of currency equivalent to S$600,000. Eg. The jackpot for the Toto this Thursday is 2 peanuts (S$1.2m).

Life Run (or rather walk) at East Coast was damn cock... looks like SAF found themselves another recreation ground.... If you happen to take a walk along East Coast Park on a Saturday, what you can see are all people from the SAF doing their activities there. Be it Captain's Ball or running/walking on the tracks, I guess 50% of the people in ECP must be carrying an 11B....

Recently many NSFs and SAF Regulars are just dying like that from all sorts of things be it running or during training. But did you realise something ?? All the recent cases happend to be on Wednesday!!! Probably that's why IPPT for tomorrow is cancelled. =p

Is it the coffee bean or the sumptous dinner I had that's making me bloated ?? Hmm.... point to note though... NEVER have coffee before dinner.... the feeling SUCKS for me... it might not be so for you... try it out... who knows ?

This blog seems kinda empty these few months so i decide to add an entry to it...

Seems like the topic recently is about the SPH vs NKF thingy... to think of it... have you ever wondered how much of the donations you called on the 1900 line actually goes to the patients who are so desperately in need of the money just to look foward to the next day. Imagine a non-profit organization being able to afford to pay the CEO $25,000 a month plus a 12 month bonus at the end of the year. That makes up to a $50,000 per month salary for the CEO!!! How on earth can an organization with no income be able to afford such pay ? Think again. Where is the money from? Obviously its from the donations because that's the only way the Foundation can get *Bling-bling*.... Who donates the money to NKF? People who earn $8000 a month as a manager giving 40-50 dollars when they call the 1900 line that consolidates 10 calls into 1, People who earn $800-1000 a month as an odd-job worker donating $20-30 dollars when they call the not-so-expensive 1900 line. What's all this for? All they thought was that they would be helping the needy patients in one way or another. But unfortunately, many of them does not know how the money is being splitted up and what is the percentage of the funds consolidated going to the patients. Being an organization that helps patients with difficulty paying the full amount for the treatment, the public would expect most of the donations gathered to be directed to the needy patients to ease their financial woes. Thus, it is would be good if the staff of the organization would only get a reasonable pay without much perks and bonuses. With the departure of the CEO and the board, and the arrival of a new management to the organization, lets hope that this organization, whom the public have supported enthusiasticly for years, would regain the trust of the public and this time be more transparent about the way the funds are handled.





*If $600,000 is peanuts, then can I have just half or a quater of the peanut pleassssssssssse :D*
